The NYPost reports that Emily Streb, 23, a music teacher from the Bronx, had sex with her 16-year old mentally disabled and mentally disturbed pupil.
The boy only admitted to the relationship after being confronted with threatening text messages he sent to his teacher.
"He either was told something about her or heard something about her that upset him . . . One could say . . . he indicated that he had been dropped," said Streb's lawyer, Virginia LoPreto.

Under "Activities," she not so cryptically states, "career change...midlife crisis."
According to the site, Emily is also the creator of the Facebook "snatches 4 life" club.
Streb has resigned from her teaching post and is barred from contacting the student.

Another NY teacher is in hot water after she allegedly raped a 13-year-old male student who attended the junior high where she taught.
Marcia Amsterdam, 30, has been reassigned to administrative duty by the Department of Education pending an investigation.

Emily Streb is a really amazing person. The context of the alleged affair is very vague. It's his word against hers. I've worked with her, and you people have no idea what you're talking about.
