Sex Teach Gets Six Years
Former middle school teacher Allenna Ward was sentenced yesterday to six years in prison for having sexual relations with five 14- and 15-year-old boys at the school where she taught as well as at a motel, a park and behind a restaurant.
The forensic psychiatrist for the defense said "Ward is not a pedophile, but rather a childlike victim suffering from personality disorders and a repressed childhood."
She said that Ward, a minister's daughter, "lived a sheltered life but really was a 'free spirit' who never got a chance to break away from her family."
Well, there you have it. It's her parents' fault.
